Considered in France as one of the most awarded screenwriters of the "cinema" scene, Thomas Bidegain has become over the years almost appointed screenwriter of Jacques Audiard with "De battre mon cœur s'est arrêté" in 2004, "Un prophète" César of the best screenplay in 2010, "De rouille et d'os" César of the best adaptation in 2013, "Dheepan" César of the best original screenplay in 2016, "Les frères Sisters" César of the best adaptation in 2019.

Among his many collaborations, we also count those with Eric Lartigau for "La famille Bélier" and the next film by Jean Jacques Annaud "Notre dame brûle" shot in early 2021.

It was in 2015 that Thomas directed his first film, "The Cowboys" with François Damiens and Finnegan Oldfield in leading roles. On a side note, for the film's soundtrack, Thomas Bidgeain performs the song Smalltown Boy by Bronki Beat.

In 2018, he directed one of the sketch films "Selfie" starring Blanche Gardin, a hilarious comedy about the excesses of digital technology.
