Niklas Hugo is an award-winning Austrian director originally from Vorarlberg, in western Austria. After studying multimedia in Vienna, he began his career exploring different aspects of filmmaking before establishing himself as a director.

Today, he works internationally across commercials, fashion films and music videos, collaborating with brands such as Puma, Samsung, Audi, Red Bull and Hugo Boss.

His work is characterized by bold visual storytelling, distinctive aesthetics and a strong cinematic approach, blending emotion, energy and authenticity.

His films have earned international recognition, including awards at the Berlin Commercial Awards, Cannes World Film Festival and Berlin Indie Film Awards. More recently, his work for Apple Vision Pro x BOSS received Gold at the 2026 Creative Club Austria Awards and CFM Awards, further establishing his presence in contemporary commercial filmmaking.
