James F. Coton is a French director who belongs to a generation largely influenced by Japanese video games, new technologies and the emergence of Hip Hop since the 80s. He loves this flow of innovation, diversity, genre overdose, which gives his images a vibrant, modern, electric combination of identity that summons a very dynamic, hype and trendy style. Gifted in finding young talents (dancer, choreographer, sportsman, model) on the networks, he composes his films with innovative and talented casting. He is able to have a creative approach on all kind of projects, giving them a very distinctive touch and approach. A style that could be defined as vibrant, colorful, pop, fashion and intelligent, free. Very technical, more comfortable in a U-crane than in his own car, he likes dynamic movements, intense editing and plays with music and light to give strength and coherence to his films. James is into sharing, exchange and the challenge of bringing something new.
