François Lallier is a Quebec-based director known for his sharp sense of comedy, meticulous attention to detail, and his ability to turn offbeat ideas into films that are both memorable and human.
A self-taught filmmaker, he first gained recognition by being featured in Marketing’s “Top 30 Under 30”. Since then, his work has been awarded at major international festivals including Cannes Lions, The One Show, Clio Awards, ADCC Awards, and several other leading competitions.
Working across multiple countries, François has developed a distinctive directing style defined by authentic performances, precise comedic timing, and a strong instinct for unexpected ideas. As one of his campaigns famously summed it up: “Weird Good.”
Passionate about advertising and the craft of filmmaking, François is driven by the belief that the best work comes from a genuine enjoyment of the creative process. When he is not on set, he draws inspiration from travel, the outdoors, and life in Quebec with his family.
