Bruno Bossi is a Cape Town–based film director known for its bold, visually arresting, and creatively refined work.

Born in Angola to a Portuguese father and Italian mother, Bruno brings a global perspective to his work, shaped by a multicultural upbringing and an early career as an award-winning photographer across South Africa and Europe.

Bruno’s body of work spans cinematic storytelling, visually rich action, and sharply observed comedy, each piece driven by a strong sense of craft and emotional authenticity. With a deep understanding of post-production, performance, and visual language, he brings both precision and humanity to the screen.

In 2025, Bruno was awarded a Gold Lion at Cannes Lions in the Film category, a Silver Pencil for Direction at The One Show, and Ciclope Berlin and was named a Winner for Direction at Ciclope Asia, cementing his place as one of the leading voices in commercial filmmaking today.
