Aube Perrie has established himself as one of the most innovative and sought-after directors in the industry. Crowned Director of the Year at the UKMVA in both 2023 and 2024, he first gained recognition with the UKMVA Best New Director award in 2021 and the Music Video of the Year title at the Webby Awards in 2022. Known for his bold narratives and striking visuals, he collaborates with the biggest names in music and advertising.
In just two years, Aube’s work has garnered over 100 nominations at prestigious awards like D&AD, AICP, SXSW, Ciclope, Shots Awards, British Arrows, ADC, 1.4, and Kinsale, winning major accolades including five D&AD Pencils—one of which was a Graphite Pencil for Best Narrative Work—and multiple UKMVA honors, such as Best Rock Video (twice), Best Pop Video, Best Hip-Hop Video, and Best Alternative Video. His videos have also won numerous Music Video of the Year and Best Director awards.
Aube’s groundbreaking work has left a lasting cultural impact. Rolling Stone listed his provocative video "Megan Thee Stallion – Thot Shit" among the 150 Greatest Hip-Hop Videos of All Time, while "Harry Styles – Music for a Sushi Restaurant" was inducted into The Museum of Modern Art’s archives in 2023. His gritty, B-movie-inspired video "The Hives – Bogus Operandi" was named Vimeo Video of the Year 2023.
With three of his latest videos nominated for Video of the Year at the upcoming 2024 Shots Awards, Aube Perrie continues to push boundaries and redefine storytelling in music and advertising.
